About Herk

Warbirds to Vintage planes to Corporate jets, it's all speed and flying to Herk Strumpf.

For as long as he can remember Herk was part of Airshows. From attending airshows across the United States as a child with his father, to flying vintage planes for display at the show, Herk was there. Set up, tear down, organization, and safety are staples to the trade. You could say he was born into it.

Now, Herk enjoys relating the visual performances to the crowd with a musical presence and commentary that is both relevant yet understandable. He adds showmanship to the optic wonders no matter the aircraft.

Herk's experience is diverse. He has participated at some of the largest airshows and has voiced many Marine and Auto Motorsports.

When Herk is not at an airshow, he can be found flying his 1947 Stinson Voyager 108-2 with friends and working for FlightSafety International as a Regional Sales Manager in the Florida and Alabama territories.
